Steven Mesia comes from an academic background in science. The perspectives gainedthroughout his education have granted him an appropriate lens through which he views his work as a Quality Systems Consultant in the food industry. In 1987, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organic Chemistry with a Minor in Microbiology from Bemidji State University. Following graduation, he immediately ventured into the food industry realm with a position at Michael Foods. For four years, Steven Mesia stood as the Quality Assurance manager for the company.
Throughout the years, Steven Mesia has maintained a plethora of leadership roles and positions within the food industry. Over the course of his 30+ year career, he has obtained various certifications including:

- Six Sigma Green Belt
